PROFIL : AARON ESCOLOPIO

Aaron Escolopio adalah drummer dari band Wakefield. Dia bergabung dengan wakefield setelah dia meninggalkan Good Charlotte. Aaron juga bersekolah di La Plata High School bersama dengan Paul Thomas, Benji, dan Joel Madden dari Goood Charlotte. Aaron sudah mengenal Paul, Benji, dan Joel sejak mereka masih kecil, dan anggota Good Charlotte lainnya, Billy Martin sejak dia bergabung dengan Good Chalottepada tahun 1998.
Aaron adalah drummer Good Charlotte hampir selama 6 tahun, tapi dia meninggalkan Good Charlotte sebelum mereka merilis album kedua mereka, "The Young And The Hopeless.

THE YOUNG AND THE HOPELESS

THE YOUNG AND THE HOPELESS adalah album kedua good charlotte yang di rilis pada 1 oktober 2002. Cover dari album ini sendiri adalah gambar sebuah keluarga berpakaian tahun 1950-an mengelilingi televisi, sedang menonton apa yang terjadi di THE DAY AFTER, film yang di buat untuk tv pada awal tahun 80-an tentang ketakutan selama perang dingin. Album ini terjual lebih dari 3 juta copy di seluruh dunia. Nama album ini hampir menyamai nama opera sabun yang berjudul "The Young And The Restless". Single pertama dari album ini adalah "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous". Dalam album ini si kembar Madden banyak meluapkan isi perasaan mereka. Contohnya dalam single "emotionless", mereka menuliskan tentang bagaimana mereka merindukan ayah mereka yang pergi meninggalkan mereka. Dan dalam single "the young and the hopeless", mereka meluapkan bagaimana mereka kesal kepada ayah mereka. Yang paling spesial adalah single "the day that i die", dalam single ini Benji Madden bernyanyi full.

GOOD CHARLOTTE

GOOD CHARLOTTE dibentuk oleh si kembar Madden, yang lahir pada 11 maret 1979 dalam sebuah keluarga kelas menengah di Wardolf, Maryland. Setelah Joel dan Benji Madden menonton konser Beastie boys pada umur 16 tahun. Benji dan Joel memutuskan membuat band sendiri, Joel tidak pernah bernyanyi sebelumnya, dan Benji pun tidak pernah bermain gitar sebelumnya. Mereka membuat band pertama mereka yang bernama "The Benji, Joel, an Brian Band" yang mereka bentuk dengan seorang teman. Namun band ini tidak berumur panjang. Kemudian mereka membentuk GOOD CHARLOTTE pada tahun 1995, mereka merekrut teman SMA mereka Paul Thomas (bass) dan Aaron Escolopio (drum).

Kemudian mereka pindah ke Annapolis, Maryland. Mereka diperkenalkan dengan Billy Martin (guitar) oleh seorang teman.

GOOD CHARLOTTE merilis album pertama mereka pada tahun 2000. Namun tidak meraih sukses yang cukup besar. Single dari album tersbut diantaranya "Little Things" , "Motivation Proclamation" dan "Festival Song". Aaron adalah drummer pada album pertama mereka, sebelum meninggalkan GOOD CHARLOTTE pada awal tahun 2001 untuk bergabung dengan band saudaranya, Ryan. Aaron kemudian di ganti dengan Dusty brill, namun hanya sementara. Drummer tersebut meninggalkan GOOD CHARLOTTE sebelum mereka merilis album kedua mereka, The Young And The Hopeless. Akhirnya, seorang drummer studio profesional, Josh Freese bermain untuk album ini.

Pada tahun 2002 The Young & The Hopeless menjadi sangat terkenal. Single yang membuat mereka terkenal berjudul "Lifestyles of the Richies And the Famous", menjadi chart teratas. Single tersebut diikuti beberapa single lainnya, diantaranya "The Anthem", "Girls And Boys", "hold On", dan "The Young And The Hopeless. The Young And The Hopeless meraih 3x Platinum.

Chris Wilson adalah drummer di album ketiga mereka, The Chronicles Of Life And Death. Yng dirilis pada tahun 2004. Beberapa single diantaranya adalah, "Predictable", "I Just Wanna Live", "We Believe", dan "The Chronicles Of Life And Death". Pada Mei 2005 Chris Wilson meninggalkan band untuk berobat ke pusat rehabilitasi.

Hari ini, melewati tour dan publisitas luas. GOOD CHARLOTTE telah memiliki fanbase besar, para anak muda di seluruh dunia.

Pada 27 maret 2007, GOOD CHARLOTTE merilis album keempat yang berjudul "Good Morning Revival". Berdurasi sekitar 45 menit. Diproduseri oleh Don Gilmore, yang pernah memproduseri LINKIN PARK dan AVRIL LAVIGNE.

GOOD MORNING REVIVAL

Sukses album THE CHRONICLES OF LIFE AND DEATH tak membuat band yang dimotori si kembar Madden merasa puas. Album ini mencetak platinum mengikuti kesuksesan album sebelumnya, THE YOUNG AND THE HOPELESS yang juga berhasil menjajaki US chart dan Uk chart untuk beberapa waktu.

Kepiawaian personil Good Charlotte, Joel Madden (vokal), Benji Madden (gitar/back vokal), Billy Martin (gitar), Paul Tomas (bass) dalam meramu musik terbilang cukup berani. Buktinya saat album THE CHRONICLES OF LIFE AND DEATH dirilis, album ini mendapat sambutan positif dari para kritikus musik.

Pada 27 maret 2007 lalu, band yang ber-genre punk rock ini merilis album ke-4 yang berjudul GOOD MORNING REVIVAL. Album yang diproduseri Don Gilmore ini berdurasi 45 menit.

Sempat dibuat terkejut dengan irama pop lagu SOMETHINg ELSE yang hampir meninggalkan rasa dari GOOD CHARLOTTE. Kemudian lagu BROKEN HEARTS PARADE yang tampaknya menjadi ungkapan kekecewaannya saat harus melepas Chris (mantan drummer) untuk berobat ke pusat rehabilitasi. Meskipun sempat diwarnai gugatan Chris kepada GOOD CHARLOTTE, namun keputusan memberhentikan Chris adalah untuk kebaikan bersama. PROFIL : JOEL MADDEN

Joel Madden terlahir sebagai Joel Rouben Combs pada 11 maret 1979 di Wardolf, Maryland. Joel memiliki saudara kembar yang juga menjadi personil GOOD CHARLOTTE, Benji Madden (guitar). Joel memiliki seorang kakak, Josh Madden dan seorang adik perempuan, Sarah.

ketika joel berumur 16 tahun, ayahnya pergi meninggalkan keluarga karena masalah finansial. Sebagai remaja, Madden banyak melakukan berbagai pekerjaan aneh untuk membantu ibunya mengatasi tagihan keluarga. Salah satu pekerjaan yang dilakukan olehnya dan Benji adalah sebagai pencuci rambut di salon. Ketika berumur du puluhan, Joel dan Benji mengganti nama belakang mereka dari Combs (nama ayah mereka), ke Madden(nama ibu mereka).

Pada umur 25 tahun, Joel berkencan dengan Hilary Duff yang masih berumur 16 tahun pada tahun 2004. Pada november 2006, setelah 2 tahun, hubungan Joel dan Hilary kandas. Joel mulai berhubungan dengan Nicole Richie setelah hubungannya dengan Hilary kandas. Mereka memilki du orang anak, putri mereka Harlow Winter Kate Madden(11 januari 2008) dan putra mereka Sparrow James Midnight Madden(9 september 2009).

PROFIL : PAUL THOMAS

Paul Thomas terlajir sebagai Paul Anthony Thomas pada 5 oktober 1980 di Waldorf, Marland. Awalnya Paul memainkan instrumen gitar, namun blekangan dia bermain bass. Paul bersama dengan si kembar MAdden bersekolah di La Plata hifh school di Maryland.
Acara tlevisi kesukaan Paul diantaranya adalah Six Feet Under, Twin Peaks, Wonder Years, Tiny Toons, Dexter, Sopranos, dan masih banyak lagi. Paul juga menyukai beberapa band lain, diantaranya Greenday, Rage against the machine, cursive, wu tang clan.

PROFIL : BENJI MADDEN

Benji Madden terlahir sebagai Benjamin Levi Combs pada 11 maret 1979 di Waldorf, Maryland. Dia memilki saudara kembar, Joel Madden yang menjadi vokalis di GOOD CHARLOTTE. Dia memiliki seorang kakak laki-laki yang bernama Josh, yang membantunya mendesain DCMA Collective mereka. Namun pada umur 16 tahun, ayah mereka Roger Combs, karena masalah keuangan. Benji dan Joel banyak melakukan pekerjaan aneh untuk melunasi tagihan keluarga. Saat berumur dua puluhan, Benji dan Joel mengganti nama belakang mereka, dari Combs (nama belakang ayah mereka), menjadi Madden(nama belakang ibu mereka).
Benji Madden memulai usaha pakaian yang bernama MADE Clothing bersama dengan saudaranya, Joel dan Josh. Pada awal 2006 Made Clothing berubah nama menjadi DCMA Collective. Usaha ini adalah miliknya sendiri, saudaranya Joel dan Josh, dan seorang teman Tal Cooperman. Sebuah toko DCMA dibuka di Los Angeles, california pada 15 maret 2008.

PROFIL : BILLY MARTIN

Billy Martin terlahir sebagai William Dean Martin pada 15 juni 1981 di Annapolis, Maryland. Dia adalah musisi amerika yang dikenal sebagai guitarist dan keyboardist band ber genre pop punk, GOOD CHARLOTTE.

Billy Martin sudah bermain gitar sejak kelas 6 saat di mendapat gitar pertamanya sebagai hadiah natal. Dia memulai band pertamanya, overflow, dengan Steve Sievers, yang juga membantunya menjalankan usaha pakaian, LeVeL 27. Billy Martin adalah seorang vegetarian dan seorang pecinta hewan besar.

Ketika rekaman album ketiga GOOD CHARLOTTE "The Chronicles Of Life And Death", Billy dan Benji melakukan perubahan peran dalam permainan gitar. Billy juga bermain keybiard pada album ini, kecuali dalam lagu "The Truth". Billy sangat senang menggmbar. Dia adalah orang yang menggambar cover album "The Chronicles Of Life And Death". Dia juga yang mendesain gambar dalam video klip "Predictable" dan "The Chronicles Of Life And Death".

Tim Burton adalah sutradara favorit Billy. Film kesukaannya adalah "The Nighmare Before Christmast.

Pada 1 maret 2008, Billy menikahi seorang hairstylist, Linzi Williamson. Mereka sudah berpacaran selama 8 tahun. Pada 26 januari 2009, mereka di karuniai seorang putra, Dreavyn Kingslee Martin di Pasadena, California.

PROFIL : DEAN BUTTERWORTH

Dean "Deano" Butterworth lahir pada tanggal 26 september 1966 di Rochdale, Manchester, Inggris. Dia pindah ke America pada umur sepuluh tahun dan mulai belajar main drum pada umur 13 tahun. Pada tahun - tahun pertama Dean bermain, di lebih fokus pada liku liku musik jazz dan fusion drum, namun setelah bermain beberapa lama akhirnya dia bermain lebih banyak musik. Ayah tirinya, Patrick Shanahan, juga berpengaruh pada permainan drumnya, dia menasehati Dean agar bermain lebih banyak gaya musik.

Keahliannya memainkan banyak gaya musik membuatnya pernah bermain dengan banyak artist, termasuk legenda musik blues, John Lee Hooker.

Pada mei 2005, setelah Good Charlotte berpisah dengan drummer mereka akibat mengkonsumsi narkoba dan letidaksanggupannya Chris Wilason untuk tour, Dean Butterworth pun dipanggil sebagai pengganti sementara. Dia bermain dalam album Good Morning revival.
